TWRP RECOVERY V3.0.0 FOR INFINIX ZERO 2 X509 [16G/32G+2G]

Till just over a year back, ClockworkMod (aka CWM) was the go-to custom recovery for pretty much every mainstream Android device. Things have changed a lot since, with a newer player entering the game and gaining a lot of critical acclaim, as well as a huge user base. TeamWin Recovery Project – or TWRP for short – is a fully touch-based custom recovery that was initially developed for Nexus devices, but has since been made available for countless other smartphones and tablets as well, in form of both official and third-party build. Personally I prefer TWRP recovery to other custom recovery due to its advanced design and simple functionality.

FEATURES OF TWRP RECOVERY V3.0.0

→ Completely new theme – Much more modern and much nicer looking (by z31s1g)

→ True Terminal Emulator – Includes arrow keys, tab and tab completion, etc. (by _that)

→ Language translation – It won’t be perfect and especially some languages that require large font files like Chinese & Japanese won’t be availble on most devices. Also some languages may only be partially translated at this time. Feel free to submit more translations to OmniROM’s Gerrit. (mostly by Dees_Troy)

→ Flashing of sparse images – On select devices you will be able to flash some parts of factory images via the TWRP GUI (by HashBang173)

→ Adopted storage support for select devices – TWRP can now decrypt adopted storage partitions from Marshmallow

→ Reworked graphics to bring us more up to date with AOSP – includes support for adf and drm graphics (by Dees_Troy)

→ SuperSU prompt will no longer display if a Marshmallow ROM is installed

→ Update exfat, exfat fuse, dosfstools (by mdmower)

→ Update AOSP base to 6.0

→ huge laundry list of other minor fixes and tweaks

HOW TO INSTALL TWRP RECOVERY V3.0.0 ON INFINIX ZERO 2 X509 [16G/32G+2G]

We are going to guide you through on two different method, so select your preferred choice and proceed to install twrp recovery v3.0.0 on your Infinix Zero 2 x509 [16G/32G+2G]

Method 1: Installation Via Recovery Mode:

If you have a custom recovery installed already, download first file [TWRP_3.0.0-0_for_recovery.zip]

1. Put the file into the sdcard or internal storage
2. Reboot the phone to recovery mod
3. Flash the zip like any custom rom then reboot your phone into recovery. Note, do not wipe anything, just flash

Method 2: Installation Via Flashtools

If you don't have custom recovery installed already, do it this way:

1. Download second file [TWRP_3.0.0-0_for_flashtool.rar]
2. Extract the file with Winrar or any extractor
3. Open the FlashTool and choose [MT6592_Android_scatter.txt] from kitkat or lollipop Depending what you have
4. Press Flash after complete reboot to recovery.
